The place we stayed at was really convenient, located near the center of the city, Rialto bridge, boat station, and St Marks square.

The room was nicely furnished and brand-new with a bathroom en suite, I had a good rest. Having a shower, hair dryers, and a bidet was a bonus.

Excellent and perfect location in pretty nice area, close to Piazza San Marco, an ideal location for a tourist to stay in and a main boat station and center and the mountains. Again, walking distance to Doge's Palace. Large breakfast with pastries and par omlette, as example...

room and cleaning were very good. An excellent location. breakfast, normal.
janitor or receptionist (man) that I had seemed very rude and uncaring. He explained things in a bad way and on top of that he got annoyed. Because of a problem with the card, I heard him tell another receptionist in Italian that he wanted to explain the problem in detail, how he said something like "just explanations". bad manners. Likewise. in the face of a mishap in my room (the hot water was not working and they made me change buildings and go to a bathroom in another room outside the hotel to take a shower), solution to which was given to me only at 10:30 am, gentleman said "remember that you have the room available until 11", On top of the fact that I had to change the bathroom and building. he reminded me of the time I had to leave, without taking into account the time they wasted on me because of their water problem in the room they gave me, Finally. it was difficult for me to get to the hotel, since they didn't even send me a map by mail, I drove with the gps of my mobile phone and when I arrived at the Ambassor hotel (where my reservation was). they transferred me to the san marco hotel, because they say that was where it was, It's around the corner. one from the other, too many details that make me not go back to that hotel. More hotels like that with better attention or even better than that. there will be insurance in Venice,

location was the best thing about this hotel, in the middle of San Marcos square. It was a luxury to be able to take advantage of the square until the last minute and to be 2 minutes away from the hotel. Besides, it had a minibar, in spite of not being very cold, served to put your own drinks and have them fresh. room was very clean, although with a very classic style, had a small terrace overlooking a street and you could not see anything, to rest a little while you take something is a luxury. bathroom was more modern, all super clean and with shower plate, only thing I did not like was the hair dryer, was the typical industrial taken to the wall with a tube where the air came out, I did not dry my hair at all! Finally, fact of having air conditioning in the room was another luxury, more in August, bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The night before we arrived at the Ambassador we phoned to make sure the room would be ready by 11 a.m., which we were told it would be. When we arrived, the girl at the reception told us that it was not ready and that nobody could have assured us what we were saying, and that the room would not be ready until 13:00 at the earliest. I didn't like anything that was so strongly denied that nobody could have told us that, playing the liar with that comment. So we had to leave our bags at the reception and walk around until 13:00, taking into account that we had taken the first train from Verona very early, with the idea of getting there to take a shower and make the most of the day, because we "knew" that the room would be ready.

The varied, complete, delicious breakfast. The attention of the staff during the day, friendly and willing to inform. The location of the hotel if you arrive early or you already know it, is excellent
The room was a bit crowded and when we arrived, it was freezing. We arrived at the train station at 8 pm and after struggling a little with the language we realized that we had to go down to St. Lucia. It was our first time in Venice and when we called the hotel they never answered the phone to help us find our way around. In fact, they answered a recording that said "there is no more space for messages, try again later". Luckily there was still water transport. We got off two stops later, had to return and then walk a lot. The little map in his mail didn't help much. The man who received us, although very correct, seemed upset.

The location was amazing, just a few steps from Saint Mark's Square, and I loved the economy double room with a comfortable bed.

Very good location just at the heart of Venice - at St Marks Square itself.
Very small room, basic amenities.

Best of our interest in this hotel is its location only.
When we arrived there was no one waiting for us and we had to drag our bags from one place to another for a distance of about two kilometers. Reception staff where at the other hotel next door were too agressive to the guests. They were all arrogant in their dealings with guests to the maximum degree especially with guests from middle east. When we arrived they did not recognise that we reserve one room for three guests, thus the workers bring a bed and put it in that small room which can only accommodate for two, so the kids could not move inside The key of the other room was old and every time we find it difficult to open the door

Hotel location was great - right in the action of St Marco's Square. Hotel room was cleaned. Room was very small and the breakfast was not great (breakfast staff were a bit rude).
